Sustainability suits us
For us, sustainability is the core value that guides all our activities. In 2021, we decided to amend our Articles of Association to become a Benefit Corporation and formalize our commitment: to pursue a more sustainable business model capable of generating a positive impact on society and the environment, creating value for all stakeholders: employees, clients, end consumers, suppliers, local communities, institutions, and shareholders.
Sustainability report
We want to act responsibly and communicate clearly and transparently with all our stakeholders. In 2023, we published our first Sustainability Report, which reported our sustainability performance in the economic, social, and environmental areas for 2022. We have drafted our Sustainability Report following GRI international guidelines and under Italian obligations regarding reporting for Benefit Corporations, providing a clear and comprehensive impact report.

Our commitment to sustainable development goals
Our 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted in 2015 by the United Nations as part of a universal action plan to combat poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all inhabitants of the Earth by 2030.
All companies are called upon to contribute to achieving the SDGs through responsible and transparent management of their business.
Korff has decided to focus on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, identifying 12 particularly significant for its own business.
We responsibly manage our supply chain
The supply chain plays a crucial role in achieving common benefit goals, which we are committed to pursuing by becoming a Benefit Corporation.
Procurement Policy
In this context, in 2023 we adopted a Responsible Procurement Policy, through which we are committed to prioritizing local suppliers and those that can generate the least environmental impact and the greatest social benefit.
Supplier Code of Conduct
In the same year, we also approved the Supplier Code of Conduct, which requires compliance with social and environmental sustainability requirements recognized at the international level as essential conditions for becoming a Korff supplier.
